Frequently Asked Questions
When do you expect the machines to become available for public use?
We are currently raising funds to bring our first free-standing refill station to life. Because this system is a newly developed model, fundraising efforts will determine the timeline, with an anticipated launch in early 2027.
Can people who aren’t unhoused benefit from the Refill Hope stations?
Yes! While one of our core missions is to support unhoused individuals by providing free clean water, these stations are community resources that anyone can use. By encouraging everyone to refill instead of purchasing single-use bottles, the stations also help reduce plastic waste and keep public spaces cleaner, benefiting the entire community.
What makes you different?
Unlike traditional aid programs, Refill Hope creates a two-way impact: free water for those who need it most and cleaner public spaces for the entire community. By uniting access, dignity, and sustainability, we turn everyday actions into meaningful change.
Can this really make a change?
Yes! When put into motion, this model is designed to create real, measurable change. By addressing immediate needs like access to clean water while also encouraging community participation and environmental cleanup, Refill Hope creates a ripple effect that benefits individuals, public spaces, and the community as a whole. Sustainable change happens when dignity, accessibility, and shared responsibility come together.
How do I get started?
You can get started by sharing our mission, volunteering when opportunities are available, or making a donation. Sharing helps raise awareness, volunteering supports hands- on community impact, and donations help fund the development and launch of our refill stations. Every action, big or small, helps us pour back into the community.
What does being a sponsor mean?
Becoming a sponsor means partnering with Refill Hope to fund, install, and maintain free-to-use public spaces. Sponsors play a crucial role in expanding access to clean water, reducing single-use plastic waste, and supporting the unhoused community.
